About Nabilala CDP


Nabilala Community Development Programme is a non-governmental, non-religious, and non-profit Community-Based Organization (CBO). Founded in 2012, it is registered with the Namutumba District Department of Probation and Social Development. The organization aims to “Revitalize Communities” in Namutumba and Iganga districts, promoting improved health and enhancing the quality of life for residents.

Our Vision

Our vision is a transformed community where everyone lives with dignity and has access to life’s essentials—food, healthcare, decent housing, clean water, education, employment, and clothing. We strive for a world free from poverty, disease, and powerlessness, where human rights are upheld, and opportunities for meaningful employment are available to all.

Our Mission

To support the poor communities to come out of poverty by promoting development initiatives in their physical, economic, social and spiritual aspects.

Our Team

David Natema

Chairperson

A graduate of Uganda Christian University Mukono, with a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, and a Diploma in Theology. Has 25 years of experience in project-related activities, and a seasoned development practitioner.

Dorothy Namusubo

Program Director

A graduate of Makerere University Kampala in Political Science and History. She is passionate about working with the community and children.

John Muzira

Project Engineer

A graduate of Kyambogo University in Civil and Building Engineering and a Diploma in Water Engineering. He oversees all construction work undertaken by Nabilala CDP
